Is a mild-flavoured winter radish with long white roots growing up to 30cm long that can remain in the ground for some time before going woody. Oriental Radish has a variety of uses and is often used as an alternative to potatoes or turnips in cooking. It can be shredded, pickled and stored.Prefers a well-dug, rich soil and sunny position. For continuity sow every two weeks. Harvest approximately six to eight weeks after sowing.
